Thanks to Everyone!

I just wanted to make a final post thanking everyone, from our team that worked hard to make this idea a reality, to all of our testers that provided us with helpful and important feedback.  I am so thankful for all that you have done, and I look forward to potentially working with you again in the future.

I present to you, CrunchTime!

The end is here and here is another rendition of the game. This version has a few more minor bug fixes and implementations.

  • added dialogue for items that would appear usable but are not
  • fixed a few more pathing bugs
  • increased the time health bars go down at every 10 seconds, is much more survivable now
  • alchohol system adjusted a little
  • adjusted the spawn rates of various objects
  • and as usual, more!

Thank you everybody for your invaluable input, it has formed this game into what it is

Also here are some possible future expansions on the game
  • money system to sell excess goods and find or earn the elusive $5,000
  • even more goods and spawn points
  • spoiled items that you don't know are bad until you try it!
  • Hostile students that will drive you crazy or you might stumble in upon in an awkward situation for negative consequences
  • more unique and humorous animations and scenarios
  • negative effects for low health bars, too hungry? oops there went all your inventory!
  • and many more!





All of the work of Tom, Scott and Lea have been implemented into the game by our programmer, Chris.

Another bug fix

Added another update to the build that fixed a few bugs and new implementation

  • fixed the bed/table walkthrough glitch
  • fixed a few typos that occurred to line spacing
  • implemented a new drunk system. How much can you drink before it is too much?
  • fixed the occurrence of hunger death scene getting caught in a loop
  • fixed the death scenes of the female not showing
  • added new sound effects for certain items

It's time to scrounge!

A full and working model of the game is now uploaded! Many changed have been implemented


  • Revised loot spawning system. No more nasty disappearing goodies!
  • Character choosing system and name customization is now implemented.
  • That snarky student ID is now appearing and the mysterious buildings can now be scoured.
  • The old man in the Welcome center now has some dialogue choices and hints for our survivors.
  • Many cinematics are currently running phenomonally.
  • Fully implemented Computer part list, now even more pieces to find!

It's play time!

At long last a playable beta demo is here! Try it, play it, love it, critique it.  




The demo includes most buildings and their corresponding floors, a functioning Tech center and its annoying employee, random generating and despawning loot, previews of things to come, and much more!

These are the frames I've created for the first cutscene. the parts with the boy/girl being shown are for each different character. I'll work with the programmer to show him how I wanted the images to be inserted, and if he needs help I can probably do it myself.
The final cutscene(s) shouldn't take too long, considering i have the faces for the frames already set out, but we'll see how it goes from here.
And I cannot upload the soundbytes so I'll give it to our programmer directly.

We have a base!



The "overworld" of our campus has been created and is working smoothly.




Health bar and HUD coding has also had the bugs worked out and is working greatly!


They currently work on a variable of 0-3 and are time sensitive. The increments of either health loss or tick time can be customized to however our needs are.

Sprites Have Arrived!


Hey guys, so I designed our characters or "sprites" as they're called by RPG Maker. I used a template of unclothed/bald caucasian sprites to get positioning. You might have to click on the little square to view.

Compare them to the original concepts.
